Job Title: Cliché Platemaker

ITW is a Fortune 200 global multi-industrial manufacturing leader with a strong presence in the product decoration industry. We are seeking a skilled Cliché Platemaker to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Cliché Platemaker is responsible for producing high-quality polymer and steel clichés to customer specifications and company policies. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produces etched and unetched clichés according to assembly orders
• Inspects raw materials for quality and incoming plates for cleanliness
• Delivers internal clichés to other departments as needed
• Inspects finished plates for quality and closes work orders in the system
• Requisitions department supplies and monitors inventory of raw materials
• Performs general housekeeping and maintenance according to room cleaning schedule
• Maintains focus on continuous improvement by applying 80/20, PLS, and USA principles/techniques and makes process improvement recommendations to management

Requirements:

• High School or GED, a trade school degree in a related area preferred, or demonstrated experience
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with most varieties of hand and power tools
• Good communication skills required to follow direction, work in a team, and discuss machines with customers

Working Conditions:

The Cliché Platemaker will work in a plant environment with exposure to various machines, tools, and equipment. The role requires standing, walking, and grasping for extended periods.

The employee must carry up to 10 pounds constantly, up to 20 pounds frequently, and use safe lifting methods to move 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include concentrated attention, close vision, far vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to bring object into sharp focus.

Manual dexterity; arm-hand steadiness; finger dexterity; multi-limb coordination; flexibility; quick reaction time.

Mental Requirements:
