Cliché Platemaker

We are seeking a highly skilled Cliché Platemaker to join our team at IDS, Inc. as an Etching and Plate Production Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality etched and unetched clichés according to assembly orders, inspecting raw materials and finished plates, and delivering internal clichés to other departments as needed.

• Etching and Plate Production: Produce etched and unetched clichés according to assembly orders, ensuring high-quality results.
• Quality Control: Inspect raw materials and finished plates to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of raw materials, requisitioning supplies as needed.
• Plate Delivery: Deliver internal clichés to other departments as required.
• Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, with a trade school degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of etching and plate production processes.
• Skills: Basic mathematical skills, basic computer skills, and experience with hand and power tools.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and grasp constantly, with frequent bending, squatting, and handling of small items.

• Plant Conditions: Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and machinery.
• Travel: No travel required.
