About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Partner to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team at The Edinburg Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide family support and advocacy directly to Persons Served and their families in collaboration with the Integrated Team, other providers, resources, and support groups.
  • Utilize life experience as a parent or caregiver of an adult child with mental illness to offer support to other parents/caregivers of family members with serious mental health conditions.
  • Act as a bridge between the Persons Served and their families who are seeking knowledge of and input into their loved ones' lives.
Requirements
  • Passionate CAREGIVER with a loved one who currently has or has been a recipient of Mental Health services.
  • BA or BS preferred. Experience in the field preferred.
  • Active involvement in local community agencies that provide family support and advocacy, such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and/or Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
