Senior Full Stack Developer for Tactical Software Projects

Rite-Solutions, Inc., a CMMI Level III software and systems engineering company, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support the development, configuration, and sustainment of various tactical software and web-based development projects. Located in Newport, RI, this full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects related to US Navy visualization and command and control of autonomous vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end web development using NodeJS, Angular, React, or VueJS and be able to troubleshoot issues during testing and production. They will also be responsible for managing code deployments, fixes, updates, and software configuration management, as well as maintaining regular communications with customers and functional team leads.
The requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in web applications development. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrated understanding of web development tools and practices, software engineering and development, and experience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Ruby, as well as configuration management and source control tools like Git/Git Runner/Jira, is also essential.
This role offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $85,000 - $105,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
