Capital One is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Continuously improve software engineering practices
  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions
  • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and participate in internal and external technology communities
  • Utilize scripting languages, container orchestration services, and cloud management tools

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience with build and deployment tools, AWS, and Agile practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with AWS
