Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist assists in performing diagnostic procedures on patients with cardiac and vascular dysfunctions. Utilizes various ultrasound modalities to produce high-quality imaging and works closely with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses. Prepares records for review and continually expands their knowledge base and clinical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound modalities
  • Produces high-quality imaging and works with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Prepares records for review and maintains accurate documentation
  • Continually expands knowledge base and clinical skills through ongoing education and training
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree from a two-year accredited program
  • Minimum of one year echocardiography or vascular ultrasound experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Registration through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
