Agronomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Agronomy Operator to join our team at Heritage FS. As a key member of our agronomy team, you will be responsible for delivering products, communicating sales leads, and applying fertilizers and crop protection products to fields.

• Deliver products to customers according to company standards and increase potential sales
• Communicate sales leads to supervisors and apply crop production inputs to fields according to recommended rates and procedures
• Record application data according to regulations and standards, and maintain inventory control
• Set up and repair equipment as needed, and perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent, and 2 years or more of related work experience
• Ability to safely operate sprayers, floaters, single or tandem axle trucks, and other equipment
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Class A CDL preferred, and ability to obtain required pesticide or fertilizer licenses or certifications
• Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant, and lift a minimum of 60 pounds of product or equipment

Occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions, noisy conditions, and working conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards. Must utilize appropriate safety measures.
