About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Systems Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulations, and internal guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Work with operating entities to provide process analysis and oversight to enforce requirements and meet regulations.
  • Lead audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings, and liaison with auditing groups and inspectors.
  • Prepare reports and documentation, including Corrective and Preventative Actions, and provide to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate legal requests in support of government investigations or litigations.
  • Ensure quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.
  • Foster uniform standards worldwide and enable best practice sharing to achieve the company's mission globally.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Quality Management or Document Control experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, desktop publishing software experience (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Familiarity with modern ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, and manufacturing documentation (i.e., BOMs, item masters, DHF, DMR, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Able to work independently and within a team.

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico): $71,000 - $106,800. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
