Job Title: Warehouse Operations Supervisor

At Aldi Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs
  • Coordinate job activities and tasks of direct reports, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Oversee receiving and shipping operations, ensuring compliance with established guidelines
  • Monitor processes for inbound and outbound deliveries, identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
  • Model company strategy and core values, promoting a sense of teamwork and membership among employees
  • Interact effectively with peers, sharing information and working towards shared objectives
  • Collaborate with other divisional operational areas, communicating relevant information
  • Provide input and recommendations to the Warehouse Operations Manager on operational improvements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, hot and cold environments
  • Continuous standing, frequent sitting, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the warehouse
  • Frequent lifting and placing product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights
