- Work with internal and external IP teams to integrate and discuss implementation challenges.
- Collaborate with design verification, DFT, physical design, and timing teams to resolve implementation issues.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of customer designs from specification to silicon.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 13+ years of industry experience or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of industry experience.
- Experience in managing and building teams.
- Expertise in HPC solutions, chiplet-based designs, D2D, 2.5D/3D heterogeneous integration.
- Strong experience in interconnect protocols such as AHB/AXI/ACE/ACE-Lite/NoC.
- Experience in HBM2/2e, GDDR5/6, LPDDR4/5, PCIe5/6 protocols, and familiarity with cache interfaces/protocols and integrating these IPs.
- Experience in SoC design from specification to silicon and silicon bring-up.
- Experience in ARM architecture, coherency protocols, and virtualization.
- Experience in design convergence cycles involving architecture, microarchitecture, synthesis, design verification, DFT, timing closure, thermal, SI/PI, etc.
- Core expertise in one or more of the following domains: architecture, microarchitecture, RTL integration, synthesis, design verification, timing constraints, physical design.
- Project management and deep technical customer interaction.
- 10% domestic and international travel, based in San Jose Samsung DSA office.
- Strong customer orientation, good communication and presentation skills.
