About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Integrated Power Services. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems and equipment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and equipment for commercial and industrial applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures.
  • Conduct site surveys and support manufacturing, installation, and set-up of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Work with vendors and procurement teams to source materials and components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures in the office and plant environment.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to support project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical design and development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of control system design, including MV switchgear, PLCs, VFDs, programming, panel layout, component selection, testing, and modifications.
  • Ability to create, read, or modify layout drawings, schematics, wiring, and interconnection diagrams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and AutoCAD.
