MetroConnects is a dedicated district responsible for the operation and maintenance of sewer infrastructure in Greenville County, South Carolina. We are currently in search of a full-time Senior Project Coordinator.

The Senior Project Coordinator will oversee several capital initiatives concurrently with limited oversight. This role will report directly to the Capital Program Manager.

  • Oversee various projects in collaboration with contractors
  • Evaluate plans, specifications, and contractual documents
  • Collaborate with engineering consultants
  • Track project scope, timelines, and financials
  • Conduct field assessments
  • Facilitate right-of-way acquisitions
  • Assess and endorse payment requests and modifications
  • Support sewer rehabilitation initiatives
  • Engage with County and SCDOT
  • Provide mentorship to Project Managers

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline with experience in wastewater management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain within two years

Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management Professional certification
  • Master's degree
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and construction management

Compensation:

Salary range is between $100,000 and $115,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Background checks and drug screenings are mandatory.
