Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Placement Coordinator to join our team at the State of Colorado. In this full-time, 12-month Administrative Professional position, you will be responsible for coordinating with agencies, facilitating student placements, preparing for associated site visits and paperwork, overseeing clinical instructors, and participating in various educational initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, and community partners. A strong understanding of nursing education and healthcare systems is also essential.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive student and staff information.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with agencies to facilitate student placements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare for and conduct site visits to evaluate the quality of clinical placements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee clinical instructors and provide support to ensure effective teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Participate in educational initiatives and collaborate with program directors and faculty members to develop curriculum and assessments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems and nursing education practices.
