Job Summary
As a Backroom Associate at Walmart, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to receive, process, and ship merchandise in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses. You will also be responsible for receiving merchandise for the facility, organizing and maintaining the Receiving area, and tracking and processing claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, and maintaining and cleaning the clearance area. Additionally, you will maintain the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, conducting safety sweeps, and correcting and/or reporting unsafe situations to facility management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and post delivery schedules
Compile and organize receiving reports
Verify merchandise counts
Route merchandise to proper locations
Pay expenses
Receive merchandise for the facility
Organize and maintain the Receiving area
Track and process claims
Maintain safety of the facility

Requirements
