Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our commercial lending technology team. As the Head of Commercial Lending Technology, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with clients, internal partners, and providing direction and guidance on optimal technology solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of IT professionals and bridge the business and technology gaps to ensure end-to-end delivery of agreed-upon solutions or services within planned forecasts and cost estimates.
  • Support a significant business area, product group, enterprise platform, service, or capability within a segment CIO or functional area.
  • Set work direction at an operational level, work autonomously in the management of the unit, and collaborate with other business or technology leaders to establish and execute on common goals with a medium to longer-term business perspective.
  • Expert knowledge of the business and bank technology standards, including infrastructure, architecture, processes, and applications from a strategic perspective.
  • Sound knowledge of external competition, emerging industry and/or market trends in relation to own business.
  • Integrator role that oversees various technology functions/resources to deliver business technical solutions or shared services.
  • Oversee a sizeable and varied team of technology professionals in the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, system enhancements/applications, and/or application or service management.
  • Direct/manages large-scale applications/projects across multiple product lines/businesses, involving significant scope and complexity.
  • Understand strategic direction (including financials) and champion alliances to benefit the Bank and/or department.
  • Advocate for operational improvements to enhance the division's value to the organization.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
  • Graduate degree, preferred.
  • 10+ years related experience.
  • Expert knowledge of the business and bank technology standards, including infrastructure, architecture, processes, and applications from a strategic perspective.
  • Sound knowledge of external competition, emerging industry and/or market trends in relation to own business.
  • Understand strategic direction (including financials) and champion alliances to benefit the Bank and/or department.
  • Advocate for operational improvements to enhance the division's value to the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial lending technology with an engineering background, managing oversight for applications/systems leveraged by multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven business development track record, with proven ability to conceptualize and implement effective new business strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership.
  • Analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills required to interpret and draw conclusions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the Commercial loan technology domain with innovative and process mining technologies expertise.
  • Experience in nCino, Salesforce, and ACBS technologies and industry trends.
