Key Responsibilities
  • Process chip, ticket, cash, and check transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate balances of various bank drawers within the Cage/Credit area.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all financial dealings.
  • Issue and cash wagering tickets while ensuring all necessary materials are available.
  • Support slot machine ticket redemption and other currency transactions.
Operational Duties

As a Casino Cage Cashier, you will:

  • Adhere to Encore Boston Harbor's core values and operational standards.
  • Contribute to departmental goals and monitor operational effectiveness.
  • Deliver exceptional service while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Stay informed about departmental updates and changes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; prior cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to interpret financial documents.
Physical Requirements

This position requires regular standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that prioritizes safety and compliance with all regulations.
