At Five Star Premier Residences of Teaneck, NJ, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Aide to join our team.

 

About the Role:

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

 

Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to residents in a safe and efficient manner. This will involve working closely with different nurses to assist with resident care and medications, following written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications, and responding to resident emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify residents' needs.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of two years of working experience, and successful completion of a state-approved Medication Aide course. You must also demonstrate competency to perform medication administration in accordance with state regulations and pass a background check and drug test.
