We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a travel contract role focused on Emergency Department care. This position requires a strong background in both adult and pediatric emergency services.
Certification Requirements- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Type of Employment: Travel/Contract
- Maximum RTO: 5 Days (Holidays Excluded)
- Required Experience: General ED (Adult/Peds), Pediatric ED
- Essential Skills: Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration, and more.
- FEMA awareness is necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior ED experience is mandatory.
- First-time travelers and local candidates are not eligible.
- Epic charting experience is essential.
- No block scheduling is available.
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- New York State License must be held at the time of submission.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS are required.
- Annual 8 hours of stroke education is required; this can be completed on the first day at the facility if not already fulfilled.
- Internal requirement: I-9 is necessary for direct placements.
- Government-issued photo ID is required.
- E-Verify is mandatory for direct placements.
- Respirator clearance is required prior to the start of the assignment.
- Personal Appearance Policy must be reviewed.
