Role Overview: As a representative of AutoNation's diverse wholesale parts offerings, you will engage with outside service clients and fleet customers. Your primary focus will be on expanding our business by acquiring new accounts and nurturing relationships with existing wholesale clients.
- Collaborate closely with Wholesale Parts Managers to enhance the sales of AutoNation's OEM and aftermarket parts to independent repair businesses.
- Gather and evaluate competitive market data to identify viable market opportunities.
- Conduct sales outreach to both existing and prospective accounts, including cold calling.
- Leverage available tools to maintain a high level of organization and focus.
- Promote and elevate the AutoNation branded parts business by becoming an expert on our product offerings.
- Stay informed about local trade advertising and publications.
- Engage in and support AutoNation's participation in local and national aftermarket events.
- Work towards increasing the number of external accounts purchasing AutoNation OEM and branded parts.
- Communicate any issues and opportunities to management to foster continuous improvement.
- Personable and capable of engaging with a diverse range of customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Customer-oriented with a strong responsiveness to client needs.
- Adept at recognizing and seizing business opportunities.
- Demonstrated perseverance with a proactive approach to closing sales.
- Proficient in computer applications, including CRM tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Knowledge of wholesale programs from various OEMs is required.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Achieving assigned wholesale sales targets across all brands within the designated territory.
- Expanding the market share of AutoNation branded parts.
- Identifying and converting new accounts effectively.
- Utilizing internal wholesale parts opportunity dashboards and CRM tools efficiently.
