Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery department. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting families throughout the birth process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and other vital signs to identify potential complications.
  • Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Enter accurate and timely patient data into electronic medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical setting.
  • Current certifications in labor and delivery nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
