Job Title: School Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students at one of our partner schools in Plymouth, MI. This position will focus on elementary support, including ASD classrooms.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student speech-language abilities to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to identify strengths and concerns in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
  • Stay up-to-date with professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions
  • Create a learning environment with effective process management strategies
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
  • Develop treatment plans with instructional staff that are strength-based and child-centered
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid MI SLP license
  • Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
