Job Summary

The Computer Systems Specialist's role is to provide technical support and maintenance for in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to end-users.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • A+ or Network+ Certification preferred but not required.
