SUMMARY:

The Client Relations Account Executive serves as the main liaison within our organization, engaging with clients and potential clients in the daily operations of our business.

This role primarily involves managing phone communications, providing quotes, and processing orders from the office.

Additionally, this position may require travel to manage specific accounts and serve as the primary contact for Vendor Managed Inventory services.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Capability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.

Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions. Competence in addressing problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Provide detailed information about our products and services to clients and prospects as needed. Follow up with literature or direct them to our website as required.

Prepare pricing and delivery quotes as requested by clients, prospects, or sales representatives, adhering to our QIS procedures. Enter quotes into our computer system. Recommend or up-sell our products or services whenever appropriate.

Receive client orders via computer, fax, or phone and enter them into our system.

Expedite orders as requested by clients or internal reports to ensure timely delivery of all orders.

Address client issues and resolve them by communicating with the relevant internal departments, managers, or supervisors.

Coordinate with outside sales representatives regarding any significant matters with their clients, whether positive or negative.

Initiate Material Return Authorizations from clients and communicate with the appropriate personnel or departments.


Conduct weekly visits to clients to strengthen relationships and perform VMI functions, including delivering orders, organizing stock, and processing new orders.

Assist with counter sales when in the office, which includes greeting clients, assisting them in locating products, and completing transactions.

Maintain and promote excellent client relations at all times.
