Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Officer to join our team at First National Bank in Hastings. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with clients, and growing our commercial lending portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client creditworthiness and make informed lending decisions based on company risk-tolerance levels.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and community members to identify business opportunities and increase revenue growth.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, loan applications, and credit portfolios.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop sales strategies and promote bank products and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations, laws, and policies to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of commercial lending experience desired.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
