Assistant Professor of Eukaryotic Cell Biology

We are pleased to announce four tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Biology at Wake Forest University. These positions are designed to attract exceptional scholars who will contribute to our vibrant research community and excel in teaching and mentoring.
Position 1: Eukaryotic Cell BiologyWe seek a highly qualified eukaryotic cell biologist to join our faculty. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in cellular, molecular, and/or biochemical approaches and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring.
Position 2: MicrobiologyWe are looking for a microbiologist with expertise in the physiology, biochemistry, and/or genetics of prokaryotes. The ideal candidate will have a strong research program and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Position 3: NeurobiologyWe invite applications from neurobiologists with a focus on the neural circuit basis of behavior. The successful candidate will have a strong research background and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring.
Position 4: EcophysiologistWe seek an ecophysiologist with expertise in plant biology and a focus on ecosystem impacts of global change. The ideal candidate will have a strong research program and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
The successful candidates will join a collaborative community of teacher-scholars engaging with life's diversity from the biosphere to the molecule. They will have the opportunity to develop courses in their areas of expertise, teach existing courses, and mentor M.S. and Ph.D. students in our graduate programs.
