Job Summary

MORI Associates is seeking a skilled Library Technician to join our team. As a key member of our library services team, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional reference services to clients through various channels, including LibAnswers, chat, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Perform accurate searches for bibliographic data and scientific publications in research databases, organizing and exporting search results using citation managers and other tools.
  • Process document delivery and interlibrary loan requests, maintaining records in accordance with federal regulations and copyright laws.
  • Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 and other online office tools.
  • Engage in onsite projects and tasks as needed, including collection management, inventories, and circulation.
  • Participate in Enterprise Library working groups as time permits.
  • Fulfill support tasks in other library service areas as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of relevant experience, or
  • High School Diploma/GED Certificate/High School Equivalency Certificate, and five years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in oral and written communications, writing and editing, and problem-solving.
  • Practical knowledge of library or related information services, tools, and methods and procedures.

MORI Associates offers a competitive compensation package, including comprehensive benefits and matching funds for our 401K plan. The wage rate for this role is expected to be $27/hour.

To meet ITAR requirements at NASA, you must either be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
