About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accreditation Coordinator to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As an Accreditation Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Business Manager by coordinating delegation relationships and accreditation requirements regarding care coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accreditation Management: Serve as a subject matter expert in accreditation related to Case Management and Population Health Management.
  • Desk Audits: Prepare desk audits according to payor requirements, including coordination of Program Evaluation, Population Assessment and Quality and Program Yearly Goals.
  • Accreditation Guidelines: Evaluate, interpret and summarize accreditation guidelines and manage the process for accreditation activities. Facilitate updates to policies and procedures as needed.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement: Coordinate Continuous Quality Improvement in order to support accreditation and achieving best outcomes, facilitate systems and/or sub-systems that support accreditation, licensure, and regulatory compliance by supporting quality and patient safety.
  • Collaboration and Education: Collaborate with leaders from multiple departments on compliance improvement activities and provide regulatory guidance to department managers. Facilitate educational sessions that enable leaders and staff to understand standards and justifications for the changes as required by regulatory & accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS in healthcare field. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of the NCQA Submission process. Quality Improvement, project management, strong quantitative, qualitative and analytical skills; proficient use of Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and SharePoint; Proficient in Adobe Pro.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years in healthcare or other organizations with NCQA accreditation; previous accreditation experience preferred.
