Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in the Houston Area Locations (HALS). This role will involve assisting supervising physicians in providing direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain medical history and perform physical exams on patients.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and radiographic results and develop management plans for patients in collaboration with faculty physicians.
  • Assume responsibility for patient assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient needs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate accurate documentation of patient information in charts.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Physician Assistant with prior experience in Surgery or Urology.
  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant training program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
  • PA certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
  • Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Salary Information:

$115,000 - $173,000 per year
