As a Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the Transuranic (TRU) waste destined for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) meets the requirements of the WIPP Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and verify data to ensure TRU waste meets WIPP WAC requirements
  • Generate and review procedures and documents
  • Identify and disposition non-conformances
  • Schedule and track performance
  • Interface with regulatory agencies, including DOE, EPA, and NMED

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in a relevant field
  • Two years of professional experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
  • U.S. citizenship or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of RCRA Laws and Regulations
  • Knowledge of WIPP HWFP and/or WIPP WAC
  • Previous work experience at DOE sites or WIPP Certified Program
