Job Title: Production Supervisor - Packaging

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising employees, coordinating work, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the department manager in enhancing technical and financial performance.
  • Direct adjustments to packaging processes to maintain conformance with standards and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review reports on production volume, yields, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate activities with other supervisors to achieve departmental goals.
  • Schedule staff and estimate worker hour requirements.
  • Review and approve time records, explaining variances as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain GMP, GSP, FSSC practices, and QC policies.
  • Collect and provide data for budget creation and implementation.
  • Support and maintain a safe and positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or lead person experience required; experience in the food industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Food Safety, FDA, and USDA regulations.
  • Understanding of ISO and certifications within the food industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and manufacturing operating systems.
