Key Responsibilities:

- Tackle complex challenges and devise creative solutions that push the boundaries of technology.
- Exercise considerable autonomy in decision-making while mentoring team members in both technical and operational skills.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evaluate potential solutions and their alignment with product roadmaps.
- Oversee large-scale projects from initial conception through to successful completion.
- Architect and manage the lifecycle of diverse projects across various technologies and platforms.
- Translate business objectives into effective technical applications and solutions.
- Utilize innovative thinking to troubleshoot systems and drive project initiatives forward.
- Deliver flexible and integrated solutions that adapt to evolving business needs.
- Consult with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for enterprise architecture and configuration issues related to cybersecurity.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Possession of an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Eligibility for DHS Suitability.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant software development experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in Agile software development environments.
- Proven expertise in Lean-Agile principles and familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong understanding of complex data models.
- Extensive background in AWS, networking, and software development solutions.
- Experience with multi-tiered architecture utilizing microservices.
- Expertise in developing identity and access management solutions.
- Demonstrated creativity and advanced decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of current technology trends and a proactive approach to innovation.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and maintaining web-based operational systems for real-time malware analysis.
- Familiarity with DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Git and Jenkins.
- Experience with containerized applications and microservices architectures.
- Understanding of cloud architectures, particularly AWS and Azure.
- Technical knowledge of cybersecurity attack methodologies.
- Experience in deploying systems into production environments.
- Background in developing malware analysis systems and performance metrics using monitoring tools.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Alternatively, twelve years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree. An advanced degree (Master's) is preferred.
Certifications:
Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM Master) is highly desirable, along with AWS Associate Architect certification.
