Job Description

At Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Project Engineer to join our Fleet Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing shipboard installation, troubleshooting, and repair initiatives onboard U.S. NAVY, U.S. Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of project execution and onsite management related to shipboard repair and installation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management, Program Managers, and Project Leads on Surface and Submarine Alterations, Repair, or Fleet Modernization projects.
  • Ensure projects and initiatives progress as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to.
  • Interface with clients and customers regarding tasking.
  • Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work assignments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Engineering program.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • Ability to obtain base access and security credentials.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and boxes (minimum 30 lbs).
  • Ability to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions, and in confined spaces.
  • Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States.
  • Due to export control regulations, this role is open to U.S. citizens only.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple assigned tasks.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness and desire to identify, research, and solve complex problems beyond current capabilities.
