Job Overview

This role is pivotal in managing inventory accuracy and financial integrity within the organization. The Inventory Accounting Analyst will engage in various functions to ensure seamless operations across supply chain and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Oversight (25%)

Manage Bills of Lading from co-packers, ensuring that material orders are accurately reflected in the MAB ERP System.

Conduct thorough investigations into discrepancies, collaborating with co/re-packers, material suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Perform monthly reconciliations of inventory levels at the Glendale facility to align ERP records with actual physical stock.

2. Technical Operations (25%)

Input production data into the ERP system across various item categories, including work in progress and finished goods.

Execute backflush transactions for all materials utilized during production within the ERP framework.

Facilitate other inventory movements and ensure accurate data entry in the ERP system.

Lead the annual on-hand inventory count at designated sites.

3. Logistical Coordination (25%)

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that inventory movements are accurately recorded in the ERP system.

Engage with leadership in Glendale and Chicago to guarantee that all necessary inventory reports are received and discrepancies are addressed.

Oversee the cycle counting process for raw and packaging materials.

4. Team Collaboration & Leadership (25%)

Partner with Supply Chain and brewery team members to address inventory variances on a weekly and monthly basis.

Communicate effectively with finance leadership regarding inventory process enhancements and reconciliation discrepancies.

Drive accountability and corrective actions with internal partners to investigate inventory variances within the warehouse.

Qualifications, Education, & Experience

1-5 years of experience in supply chain or accounting roles.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.

Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, including PowerPoint.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
