Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing patient support and communication, facilitating an exceptional patient experience, and contributing to the success of our organization. Your primary duties will include:

* Welcoming and preparing patients for their appointments
* Informing patients of relevant information for their visit
* Providing clear communication about the services they are scheduled to receive

You will also be responsible for performing various patient care activities, such as collecting and documenting vital signs, histories, and screenings, authorizing prescription refills, and preparing patients, rooms, and supplies for visits or examinations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or eligible within 90 days of hire
* 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
* Phlebotomy experience required
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers preferred
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required
