MRG Exams is a premier service provider of independent medical examinations. We are looking for a part-time Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an Optometrist who wants to focus on performing assessments rather than traditional patient care and treatment. You will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal and conducting comprehensive eye exams on each veteran. Your task will be to complete forms based on the exam findings and submit them within 24 hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams on 3-6 veterans per day on average.
  • Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete forms.
  • Submit completed forms within 24 hours after an exam.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A current license as an Optometrist in the state where exams are performed.
  • The ability to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT).
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
About the Opportunity

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. As a Part-Time Eye Assessment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to serve veterans in your community while focusing on assessments rather than traditional patient care.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
