We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cosmetologist to join our team at AEG, a leading provider of luxury spa services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch beauty treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Professional Beauty Services: Administer a range of beauty treatments, including nail services, hair services, facials, waxing, makeup, and related beauty services to our guests.
  • Maintain High Standards of Cleanliness and Sanitation: Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Inform and Educate Guests: Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific home-care and wellness concerns, and recommend home care products and regimens from our retail selection.
  • Support Team Efforts: Assist team members in ensuring the cleanliness of front-of-house and back-of-house areas, and assist in restocking and organization of the facility as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention to management.
  • Promote the Spa: Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and discounts available.
  • Attend Training and Meetings: Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spa, and assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older.
  • Cosmetology License: Current PA Cosmetology license is required.
  • Physical Exam: This position requires successful completion and passing of the post-offer employment physical exam.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Professional Image: Must have a professional image representative of the luxury day spa market.
  • Communication Skills: Must possess excellent communication and guest service skills.
Job Demands
  • Flexible Work Schedule: This position requires a flexible work schedule with varying hours based on business need.
  • Work Hours: Ability to work up to 40 hours.
  • Visual Abilities: This job requires the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens, accounting ledgers, using measurement devices).
  • Verbal Communication: This job regularly requires verbal communication of detailed information to others either by phone or in person.
  • Physical Demands: Constantly reach forward, frequently lift (0-10 lbs), stand, climb stairs, stoop, finger, grasp, and handle objects. Occasionally lift lbs), carry lbs), push (0-50 lbs.), pull (0-50 lbs.), sit, walk, reach overhead, balance, crouch, and operate controls.
