Job Title: Cosmetologist

At Meltspa By Hershey, we are seeking a skilled Cosmetologist to join our team of professionals. As a Cosmetologist, you will be responsible for administering professional treatments and services to our guests, including nail services, hair services, facials, waxing, makeup, and related beauty services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional spa and salon services and treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Inform and educate guests about home-care and wellness concerns, and recommend home care products and regimens from our retail selection.
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
  • Perform prep work, clean and restock rooms as required.
  • Assist team members in ensuring cleanliness of front and back of house areas, and assist in restocking and organization of the facility.
  • Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and discounts available.
  • Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Current PA Cosmetology license is required.
  • This position requires successful completion and passing of the post-offer employment physical exam.
Working Conditions:

This position requires a flexible work schedule with varying hours based on business need. The ability to work up to 40 hours is required. The job demands include the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances, verbal communication of detailed information to others, and the ability to lift, stand, climb stairs, stoop, finger, grasp, and handle objects.

This job requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a professional image representative of the luxury day spa market. Excellent communication and guest service skills are essential.
