We are currently seeking a Residential Cleaning Specialist to become a vital part of our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in public spaces and resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and communal areas.
  • Execute all cleaning tasks, which include:
    • Distributing laundered items and linens
    • Replacing and hanging draperies
    • Changing bed linens
    • Cleaning public restrooms and restocking supplies as necessary
    • Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
    • Dusting furniture and equipment
    • Polishing metal fixtures
    • Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
  • Perform all laundry-related duties, including:
    • Washing, drying, and ironing resident laundry and community linens using provided appliances
    • Folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately
    • Distributing laundered items and linens
    • Replacing and hanging draperies and changing bed linens
  • Maintain cleanliness in resident laundry areas, including mopping floors and washing walls regularly.
  • Wash windows at accessible heights throughout the community as requested.
  • Keep utility and storage rooms organized and clean.
  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
  • Stock cleaning carts with necessary supplies.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to ensure trash and dumpster areas are clean.
  • Complete maintenance work orders for any required repairs.
  • Promptly report resident issues or changes in health or living conditions.
  • Immediately report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related concerns to the Supervisor.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Engage with residents to facilitate their transition from home to community through thoughtful interactions.
  • Punctuality and minimal absenteeism are essential.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance in accordance with dress code standards.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols.
  • Utilize equipment and materials appropriately.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
