Position Details

Job Title: Commercial Carpet Care Specialist
Compensation: Hourly pay during training. Post-training, you will earn an hourly wage PLUS commission. Once fully trained, technicians typically earn between $40,000 and $60,000 annually, based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to an electronic scheduling system.
  • Provide quotes for carpet, tile, upholstery, and vinyl cleaning services.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment for various jobs.
  • Conduct repairs including stain removal, dyeing, stretching, patching, and seam repairs.
  • Administer odor treatments.
  • Extract water in flood situations.
  • Clear dryer vents and A/C drain lines.
  • Document mileage and complete service checklists.
  • Communicate respectfully with property managers, residents, and team members.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for flood emergencies, which includes 3 days on-call followed by 2 weeks off (strict adherence required). Employees must abstain from drugs and alcohol while on-call.
  • Lift and transport equipment (up to 70 lbs), which may involve carrying items to higher floors.
  • Drive a company vehicle to various locations throughout the Tampa Bay area.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
  • Operate truck-mounted cleaning machinery.
  • Mix cleaning solutions responsibly following company guidelines.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Keep an inventory of equipment.
  • Follow instructions from multiple departments.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements
  • Ability to perceive all colors.
  • Smartphone for communication and scheduling.
  • Experience in building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
