Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for 4th Grade within the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District. This position is essential in maintaining the continuity of education for our students during the designated period.

Compensation
The daily wage for this position is $252.00.

Appointment Type
This is a full-time position with anticipated employment from the end of October to early January.

Key Responsibilities
The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and effective instruction to a diverse group of elementary students.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with school staff to support student learning and development.
  • Implementing lesson plans and adapting them as necessary to meet the needs of all students.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A valid Wisconsin teaching certificate in Elementary/Middle Level (grades 1-8) or Regular Education (grades 1-8).
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale in relevant degree coursework.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.
  • Experience working with a diverse student population.
  • Previous experience in an elementary educational setting is preferred.
