Key Responsibilities::
  • Focus on data collection, application of ABA techniques, and data entry into behavior tracking systems.
  • Assist in preparing instructional materials, including data sheets and visual aids.
  • Prepare for sessions in advance to ensure all materials are available for specific client objectives.
  • Utilize ABA principles and methodologies to enhance or modify targeted behaviors in students.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked and adhere to supervision requirements set by the BACB.
  • Record data on student behavior in real-time, including ABC data, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and session notes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
  • Understand and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Write Behavior Emergency Reports (BERs) and Special Incident Reports (SIRs) as necessary.
  • Ensure the safety of clients by maintaining awareness of their whereabouts and directing them appropriately.
  • Collaborate with agency staff regarding student progress and the need for additional behavior planning.
  • Respond to emergencies or crises effectively, including injuries, altercations, or seizures, potentially utilizing CPI techniques.
  • Exhibit flexibility to report to different locations or students within the designated region as needed.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to requests from Supervisors/BCBAs.
  • Assist in training new behavior technicians.
  • Once registered with the BACB, work closely with the BCBA to accumulate necessary hours for maintaining registration.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Participate in assessments, planning, and evaluations.

  2. Undergo TB Testing & Physical Exam with Concentra Authorization (TB results within 60 days of hire accepted).
  3. Provide a copy of the highest level of education attained (e.g., High School Diploma, GED, or college degree).
  4. Submit a copy of the Immunization Record; if unavailable, a Titer Test will be required.
  5. Provide one Letter of Recommendation.
  6. Present a valid copy of Auto Insurance with your name.
  7. Submit a valid copy of your Driver's License.
  8. Provide a valid copy of your RBT license/credential.
  9. Present a valid copy of your CPR/First Aid Certificate or BLS Certificate.
  10. Submit a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Card, if applicable.
