Job Summary:

The House Attendant - Evening Shift is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's public areas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering service items to guest rooms upon request
  • Driving shuttle van when needed
Responsibilities:
  • Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests
  • Job Requirements:
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations
  • Provide turndown service to assigned guest rooms and suites
  • Clean and refresh guest rooms as needed
  • Restock guest rooms per shift
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
  • Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • Handle items for Lost and Found according to hotel standards
  • Follow all procedures as outlined by the Housekeeping Manager
