Role Overview:
As a Grocery Merchandising Specialist, you will support our Chain sales team by ensuring optimal product presentation and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve fostering professional relationships with both clients and the Riboli sales team while driving sales through effective merchandising strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance product displays, shelves, and cold boxes in grocery accounts.
- Ensure proper product rotation and cleanliness of displays.
- Assist in organizing back stock to optimize shelf space.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives for store resets.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with accounts and customers.
- Communicate effectively with Sales Representatives and District Managers.
- Provide valuable feedback on market trends and competitive activities.
- Utilize effective Point of Sale systems.
- Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain high standards of excellence.
- Submit daily reports on account activities and significant achievements.
- Practice safe work and driving habits.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain auto insurance.
- Reside within the designated territory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in grocery retail or the Wine & Spirits industry.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift 45-55 pounds regularly.
- Commitment to a 40-hour work week with flexible hours.
