Your Role:
As a Law Enforcement Officer, your mission is clear: safeguard lives and property, uphold laws, and investigate criminal activities. You will operate under general supervision, possessing the autonomy to make critical decisions. Typical Duties:
  • Conducts regular patrols in various areas, fostering positive relationships with residents and businesses.
  • Responds to service calls, addresses crimes, and manages disturbances, apprehending offenders as necessary.
  • Provides assistance and information to the public, guiding citizens to community services and resources.
  • Maintains peace and order during public events and community gatherings.
  • Ensures safe traffic flow, investigates accidents, enforces traffic laws, and promotes safety for all road users.
  • Issues legal documents such as citations and prepares necessary reports and documentation.
  • Offers specialized services when trained, such as K-9 or Motorcycle Patrol.
  • May perform administrative duties as assigned, contributing to various departmental functions.
  • Performs other related tasks as needed.
