Job Title: EDIFECS Developer

We are seeking an experienced EDIFECS developer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EDI development, with a focus on Edifecs toolset and EDI transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather requirements and oversee the implementation of EDIFECS.
  • Interface with internal business and technical resources.
  • Design, build, and test payer EDI systems.
  • Work with an established and dynamic development team.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of hands-on Edifecs/EDI development experience.
  • Experience working directly in a Healthcare payer or healthcare provider's EDI solution.
  • Strong understanding of EDI transactions, including X12 276/277, X12 834, X12 835, and X12 837.
  • Experience with Edifecs toolset, including SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, XEngine, and XEngine Server.
  • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns.
Preferred Skills:
  • Agile development experience.
  • Java programming language.
  • Experience with HIPAA requirements.
