Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled EDIFECS developer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As an EDIFECS developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing payer EDI systems using Edifecs toolset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements and oversee the implementation of EDIFECS
  • Interface with internal business and technical resources
  • Design, build, and test payer EDI systems
  • Work with an established and dynamic development team
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of hands-on Edifecs/EDI development experience
  • Experience working directly in a Healthcare payer or healthcare provider's EDI solution
  • Experience with Edifecs toolset, including SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, XEngine, and XEngine Server
  • Strong understanding of EDI transactions, including X12 276/277, X12 834, X12 835, and X12 837
  • Experience with Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Edifecs 8.4
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements
  • Experience with Java programming language
