Your Key Responsibilities

  • Install, program, test, and troubleshoot new Conventional and Addressable Fire Alarm Systems, as well as other related building systems products.
  • Organize and utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Utilize test equipment, including multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meters, decibel meters, and communication devices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operation/product manuals.
  • Perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years' related experience in Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Nurse Call & Security Systems.
  • Knowledge of major fire alarm equipment brands, such as Notifier and Simplex Fire systems.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, including NFPA 72 and NFPA 70.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and database software programs.
  • Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade School in Electronics.
  • NICET certification.
  • Prior security/access control/intrusion experience.
