Database Administrator Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to support a new award opportunity at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting large and complex Oracle database implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Oracle databases
  • Design and implement database solutions
  • Ensure database security and integrity
  • Optimize database performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience administering Oracle databases
  • One or more DoDD 8140.01 certifications and technical credentials
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification
  • TS/SCI clearance
