Cosco Fire Protection is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Designer to join our team in Seattle, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong technical aptitude to design and develop fire alarm systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AutoCAD and fire alarm design tools, as well as a solid understanding of design/drafting techniques and fire alarm terminology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fire alarm systems using CAD equipment and fire alarm design tools.
  • Prepare routine layouts, detail drawings, calculations, sketches, and diagrams for efficient field installation.
  • Coordinate with the MEP team and General Contractor to ensure project schedules are met.
  • Develop submittal packages for AHJ, Contractors, etc. and obtain all required approvals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in Fire Alarm Design.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD and fire alarm design tools.
  • Experience designing Onyx Notifier or equivalent Networked Fire Alarm systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET certification.
  • Associate's Degree or above.
