**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our Housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to determine discrepant rooms and prioritize room cleaning.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinate efforts with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff.
  • Record, monitor, and update list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time and assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the 'Do Not Disturb' list.
  • Complete required Housekeeping paperwork.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
